Since 2020 did not turn out how everybody thought it would, people can look forward to the endless movies coming out next year! About 67 movies have been scheduled  to premiere during 2021. The genres range from action, to drama, comedy, and horror.

The movies that will be most anticipated are Dune, No Time To Die, The Suicide Squad, Black Widow, Godzilla vs. Kong, Jurassic World: Domination, Venom 2, Avatar 2, and F9 (Fast and Furious 9), according to IMDb. Multiple of these movies were filmed before Covid arrived, and some are also being filmed right now. A few directors are still planning to start filming sometime during 2021.

Many  movies are being released every single month of next year. Throughout January and June, about 36 movies will premiere, as we know of right now. In July through December, 30 movies will be released, along with some iconic remakes of Halloween movies arriving in October.

The action and thriller movies are what people get  most excited about. Multiple sequels of popular movies keep people interested in certain series. As we have heard, another Spider-Man movie following up Spider-Man Far From Home will thrill audiences and No Time to Die is the 25th instalment in the James Bond film series. Marvel is also going to come out with four movies to add to their collection, which will be Black Widow, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and Eternals. And one of the most popular movie series, Fast and Furious, will be adding F9 to their franchise. Lastly, Mission Impossible will also be releasing their seventh film of the series in 2021.

Many kid friendly movies are also premiering next year. Movies such as Sing 2, Minions: The Rise of Gru, The Little Mermaid (live action), Raya and the Last Dragon, Cinderella (live action), Cruella, Mulan (live action), Blazing Samurai, Tom and Jerry, and Hotel Transylvania 4. These movies will be great to watch with friends and family if we are still in quarantine next year.

Considering nobody can tell the future or exactly predict what is going to happen with Covid, watching movies will be a great way to occupy yourself, while sitting around the house all day. It’s super time consuming without even realizing it, and it’s a great form of entertainment! Whether you watch these new movies with friends, family, or just by yourself, grab some popcorn and relax while enjoying all these new movies.
