With 2020 almost wrapping up, many unfortunate things have affected peoples’ daily lives. However, this is not stopping many video games from being released during this time. With difficulties in their lives, these newly released video games can help people share many fun times with others. 


 

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, the second installment of the Marvel’s Spider-Man series, focuses on Miles Morales, a kid from Brooklyn, who adjusts to life after moving to Harlem, and also being known as Spider-Man. After his mentor Peter Parker decides to travel abroad to the country of Symkaria to cover an ongoing war, it is up to Miles because  he is forced to protect his hometown, as an ongoing gang war between the Roxxon Energy Corporation and the Underground puts the rest of New York City in danger.

NBA2K21: Next Gen is a basketball-simulation game that continues the legacy of many years of the NBA2K video game series. Video gamers are able to control any players or teams from the NBA by going head-to-head with other opponents online, or with their friends. There are many game modes that intrigue people, like the new MyCareer story that takes players  on a new unique adventure with a  customizable player. There is also the MyGM mode to try to be the GM of any team they choose. There is also a MyTeam mode that allows players to create their squad with cards as they take on other players online.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is another video game that many people are excited about. The sixth installment of the Black Ops series, this game features an all new campaign mode that follows CIA officer Russell Adler as he pursues Perseus, a Soviet Union Spy who is trying to tilt the balance in the Soviet Union’s favor. The game also features an all-new multiplayer mode, with new maps also being added to the experience and have an all-new Create-a-Class system. The Zombie mode also introduces a new story mode that allows players to try to survive from a zombie apocalypse. 



 

With these games out, many people are expecting this year to finally come to an end. They will be expecting more news about upcoming video games by the time 2021 comes along.
